GIS Layer Download

All downloadable GIS layers are in ArcView shapefile format compressed into a zip file that can be opened in WinZip or PkUnzip.  The layers are projected in Alabama West State Plane Coordinate System (units in feet) NAD83 FIPS Zone 102.  Shapefiles may be viewed in  ArcView, Geomedia Viewer, and AutoCAD Map.  ArcExplorer is a free viewer by ESRI that can be used to map the shapefiles
