The City has made all of its 2010 Orthophotos and Planimetric layers available to the public on DVDs
or USB Flash drives. Each DVD contains the area designated on the map to the
right. The data is based on 2010 aerial photography at a 1inch = 100 ft map scale (Alabama West State Plane Coordinate System NAD83 Datum Fips Zone 102 ).

The Planimetric Data is available in DXF and shapefile format. Click on
link to view a list of the layers included on each DVD.

2010 Orthophotos
The Orthophotos are available in a compressed JPEG2000 format and have a resolution of 1 pixel = 6 inch within the City of Mobile and a 1 pixel = 6 inch or 1 pixel = 1 foot in the county.

Planimetric data for 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2006 are available for $25 a DVD. Orthophotos are available for 1997 (black and white), 2002 (color),
